The 20th century witnessed a wellspring of engineering innovation in the United States. The growing need to transport food, consumer goods, people, fuel and hardware fired the imaginations of inventors and entrepreneurs throughout the region. The Central Coast of California figured strongly in the design, engineering and production of machinery for moving things from one place to another.
Please accept our invitation to support the worthy cause of documenting and preserving the legacy of the Central Coast’s technical innovators. Contributions are tax deductible as the Central Coast History Foundation is a nonprofit 501c educational corporation. All contributions will be used for the research, organization and production of “The Achievers” book and website.
